Solid Baltic Birch Construction.

8 x 17 inch base. Aluminum 3/4 x 3/8 inch miter bar is slot mounted for slide / pivot positioning.
Leadscrew driven fine adjustments under the tilt table with a thumbscrew.

Compound Edge Capability on either side of square.
Bevel the circle or the edges of circles by tilting the table.

How it Works:

Cut your material to approximately round and slightly larger than intended for finish size.

Drill a 3/16th inch stopped hole in the measured center of your workpiece. This is your Radius Point.

Measure a distance slightly less than the desired Radius Distance on the jig and locate the Radius pin in the corresponding hole.

Using the lead screw on the jig, dial the exact radius of the diameter circle you wish to create. This distance is the center of the pin to the face of the sanding disc, and assure that the jig does not contact the disc at this diameter.

Swing the jig out a way from the sanding disc.

Locate the workpiece onto the radius pin, start the sander and ease the work into the disc while rotating it slowly in a 360 degree clockwise direction.

Allow the disc to sand away the unwanted material until the lead screw stops further progression towards the disc. When this has been achieved, measure your circle diameter and compare to desired size. The lead screw will allow you to fine tune the diameter beween the radius size of any radius pin location.

Remember, this jig can help you create circles or radiuses from 5/8's to 16-5/8's diameter. This creates perfect circles sanded exactly to the desired diameter and the process is completely repeatable.

Great for making circles for any purpose, including laminated turnings, clock gears, router templates and jigs, or parts of anything that require a circular shape.

Includes The Base with Miter Bar,
Two 3/16 Diameter Radius Pins (one 5/8 long, one 3/4 long)
and a Mounted Stainless Steel / Brass Lead Thumbscrew.
