Every item is artisan made and custom handcrafted to order, many of our items require lead times. Please remember to consider lead time into your order with us. You purchases are shipped from Paradise, California USA.
Shipping and Handling charges are not included as part of your purchase.
To keep shipping costs as reasonable as possible, we do not offer flat rate shipping options based on the purchase amount. This way, the only shipping charges being purchased by our clients is for their shipment(s). We do our best to offer the best shipping for your purchases that we can on the whole, and feel this is the best fit for our clients.
We collect shipping charges based on the dimensional size and weight of your order, to your postal code. We also must collect the banking fees required to cover the transaction. We do not collect this at the time of your order. Rather, we collect this closer to the time we ship so we can get you the freshest rates possible. Don't worry, we will contact you for shipping charges just before we ship your order.
If it is helpful to you, we are happy to provide a shipping *estimate* for you prior to purchase to give you a sense of shipping costs, however we are unable to provide a firm quote prior to ordering. Shipping fees are set by shipping companies and are updated very frequently based on factors that affect their business. We have no control over any of this, and in fact pay these same charges ourselves as we conduct our business.
While we can provide you with a ballpark idea of shipping costs for what you intend to purchase, we need to know the weight of the parcel and the postal code it will be going to in order to offer any estimate. It is impossible for us to know in advance what the shipping market will be actually like until we are very close to the time we will ship. More often than not, our estimate will be very close to actual.
A little more about Shipping Charges, because we've been asked.
We realize shipping is a cost that adds to the total price any consumer pays.
As a small business, while we have worked hard in negotiations with our shipping partners to get the best shipping rates available. However, we are low volume shippers and are not elegible for the discounted shipping rates that corporate-sized, high volume shippers enjoy.
We also ship many items that are made to be sturdy, durable, and are heavy for their size.
We wish shipping costs were lower, just like you do. We pay the going-rate shipping charges for many inbound items that help us run our business every month, which also add to costs for us. We must also observe the rules and regulations that our shippers have when we ship your purchases to you.
Shippers tally charges for each shipment with formulas called "dimensional weight" that combine both the size and weight of any given parcel, and assign a minimum weight to that size of package. Shippers refer to it as, "The cost of doing business". It is their way of rounding up to the minimum price they will offer for cartage for any parcel.
We don't set their rates, but we do have to pay them.
We want you to know that we care about the bottom line, (Yours and Ours) and do all we can to control these costs. Shipping isn't a profit center for us. We pass what you paid to us for shipping and handling along to the vendors who help us ship your order to you, and absorb the rest of the costs.

Delivery Transit Times:
In our experience, most domestic shipments for our products arrive between 1 and 6 business days after shipping. Usually an estimate of travel time will be provided by the shipping company's tracking page. Most of our shipments include tracking, and delivery estimates are available usually within hours after we ship. International shipments commonly arrive in country between 6-14 days, and can take between 2-6 weeks for delivery as based on additional travel time and customs services.
Any shipping delays that may occur (such as inclement weather, equipment issues or administrative errors) are beyond our, and often times the shipping company's control.
Most shippers will offer information about delays and adjusted timelines via the tracking pages of their respective websites. If you are our client and awaiting shipment, please follow the link that we provide our clients for their shipment(s) via email to find most of this information.
If you are concerned about a delay regarding your shipment with us and need help from us as the shipper of your parcel(s), please feel free to contact us.
Special Shipping Arrangements:
We are happy to make special shipping arrangements such as expedited deliveries, vacation holds, gift deliveries, and drop shipping to third parties. We can even ship to your new location should it change while your tools are on order. We can also quote you pricing from overnight to ground shipping. Please feel free to contact us with any updated shipping information, any shipping questions or to discuss any special arrangements you may have.
Shipping Estimates and Quotes:
For a Shipping Estimate or Quote, we will need your zip or postal code to figure the costs. We offer Shipping Estimates in lieu of Quotes for shipments that will not ship within two weeks of an inquiry. Shipping Quotes are considered accurate for 2 weeks from the day we provide them. We honor only fresh shipping quotes. Actual shipping costs at the time we ship may vary, as based on shipping company rate variables which are constantly updated.
When you place your order, we must collect your phone number. It will be provided to the shipper, as per their TSA policies.
We ship using FedEx Ground and Home Delivery for most domestic orders. We have found this service to be the fastest ground delivery while offering the best care of the parcel being delivered at a modest price. Pricing is determined by the shipping company as based on your location and zoning.
Insurance for the full purchase value is included for domestic shipments, no exceptions. It isn't expensive, don't worry. It is far better to have and not need for custom made work.
Evenfall Studios is not responsible for loss or damage encountered for any shipment, and we will not replace your lost or damaged uninsured item(s) should this occur. Generally the full insured value of any package will be required to cover the costs of supplying a replacement, but will not cover the costs of time spent handling the insurance claim.
Some smaller, lightweight items we offer may ship USPS Priority Mail or USPS First Class at our discretion. We will ship USPS to locations where this is the only viable means for delivery. (APO/FPO etc.) All shipment costs are based on parcel dimensional weight and current shipper charges which are available on their respective web sites. We can arrange for expedited delivery for additional cost.
Some orders we ship are drop shipments, and handled by a third party. UPS is sometimes utilized for these shipments as well.
We are sorry, but we generally cannot ship most items to U.S. Postal Service P.O. Boxes, but are happy to ship to a physical address that you arrange with us for shipment. Please contact us should you have any questions or concerns.
Shipping to APO/FPO:
We happily ship to any APO/FPO serviced by the USPS.

To Qualify for International Shipping, Your order must total $50.00 USD in Merchandise Value, Minimum.
We generally ship Internationally via USPS Priority Mail International.
This option can sometimes offer order tracking to your door. It does offer tracking until it leaves US Customs processing. Some countries continue to scan the barcode on the customs forms, others may not. Alternatively, FedEx is available as well, and does include shipment tracking door to door.
All international shipment costs are based on parcel dimensional weight and value. A $10.00 USD handling fee (minimum) is included with international shipments to cover PayPal international transaction fees, packaging materials, time spent handling customs paperwork including tariff code research and working with the postal service in person, which averages 1 hour of time including travel to drop off the parcel for postal service.
Insurance Coverage for your International Delivery is not included for the full value and purchase of insurance is Your Responsibility. Evenfall Studios is not responsible for loss or damage encountered for any international shipment, and will not replace your lost or damaged uninsured item(s) should this occur. Generally the full insured value of any package will be required to cover the costs of supplying a replacement, but will not cover the costs of time spent handling the insurance claim.
The USPS does offer insurance for international shipments to cover the value of items at additional cost to their shipping rates. Please inquire, and we will happily look into this on your behalf. If you choose not to insure the parcel, you are willing to accept the loss or damage your shipment may incur. On a positive note, we package very carefully, clearly label for "Fragile" and internationally, the shippers have been diligent in their deliveries on the whole. Again, Evenfall Studios is not responsible for any loss or damage. We have many happy international clients and welcome your business, but we have also made you aware that there are realities to consider.
We can also arrange for expedited delivery for your shipment at additional cost. A U.S. Customs Declaration will be attached to the parcel, that accurately reflects the parcel contents. Your order may be subject to inspection by your national customs services upon arrival in your country, and prior to delivery to you.
Duties, Fees and Taxes:
Your country can and may impose taxes or duty fees based upon the value and contents of the order. These taxes or duty fees are not the responsibility of Evenfall Studios.
Some free of extra cost shipping insurance for international orders is included in the cost of shipment from the USPS, but typically does not cover the value of your purchase. Please contact us if you would like to purchase additional insurance for the full value of your order.
Please Note: We want to assure you recieve your order. An "unconfirmed address" is PayPal's terminology, which tells merchants that they are unclear that the shipping address is correct. Sometimes billing and shipping addresses are different. PayPal is also attempting to discourage fraudulent activity in many ways, and by confirming you are where you say you are is one of them. For our online orders, we will receive your shipping address via PayPal.
It is PayPal policy for merchants to not ship to customers that have "unconfirmed addresses". We do follow that policy for both your protection and ours to assure your order gets to you. If we are notified that the address you provided us at the time of your purchase is considered to be an unconfirmed address, we will contact you to verify you address with us via email before we ship. You can also confirm your address with PayPal by following their instructions for doing so on their website.
For our part in this, we assume you are always providing us the address you wish us to ship to, unless you designate otherwise. We assume that the way you send address information to us is exactly as it should appear on the shipping label. It is the purchaser's responsibility to keep us appraised of address changes, however we will attempt to verify address information if we feel there is any question. Ultimately, we want you to receive our shipments to you in the greatest of ease possible.
Sometimes our shipping software will reject an address based on how it is written. We then attempt to correct this on our own and have a couple resources to help us do so. If our address checking software has any issue with your delivery address, we may contact you to re-confirm your delivery address and override our software's suggestions. This confirms that your purchase will ship to you properly.
Notification and Tracking:
We will notify you via email when your order ships and supply you with tracking information if applicable.
For some shipments, our shipper will email you tracking information as well, with a link to their website that will offer you some further control over your shipment.
Using Freight and Shipping Forwarders.
As per your request, we will ship to the Domestic US address you provide. All Products leaving Evenfall Studios are quality assured to be complete and in perfect condition prior to packaging. Our packaging is robust, so as to endure both domestic and international shipments, provided proper care and handling by our shipper(s) is observed. Should the delivery address provided by our client be to a third party company that forwards shipping or freight internationally, makes no difference to us. Your package or packages will be shipped to the supplied address with the necessary insurances to get it to that address with Signature Confirmation. Once our shipper notifies us of confirmed delivery, our shipment responsibility, liability and insurance ends there. Your forwarding service is now 100% responsible for the package(s)/shipment(s).
Notification of confirmed a delivery from our shipper releases Evenfall Studios of any liability for loss of the package. We will allow 24 hours for your forwarding service to contact us, regarding any damage to our shipment that may need to be claimed with our shipper. After 24 hours has passed and no attempts by your forwarder has been made to claim damage, Evenfall Studios will no longer hold it's shipper(s)liable for any damages, and we will consider our business with you complete. At this point, your shipping forwarder, or freight forwarder is now 100% responsible for any theft, loss or damage.
Evenall Studios is not responsible for any taxes tariffs or duties levied by any country. When using freight forwarders, Evenfall Studios is not responsible for your international shipment. Your parcel or parcels, will not be supplied with any form of customs paperwork, nor a bill of lading for tariffs. Any necessary paperwork for your international shipment will be the responsibility of your forwarding service. We supply only electronic documents directly to our clients via email only. We monitor tracking, to confirm it arrives at the address provided by our client. Please remember, your freight forwarding service is not our client.
Evenfall Studios is not responsible or liable for any theft, losses or damages incurred to our products, and neither is our shipper after they leave the custody of our shipper.
Undeliverable/Refused Receipt of Shipment.
We do our best to ship to confirmed addresses. We do our level best to confirm that we are shipping to your preferred address, always! It is our clients responsibility to keep us informed of any changes of address. Most specifically, if you change address, we ask that you call it specifically to our attention and confirm that we have changed your address on file.
Should this result in a misdelivery or an undeliverable parcel; ALL Correspondance and the tracking number for your shipment will be placed on file with PayPal, to confirm our due diligence if applicable.
Evenfall Studios is not responsible for mis-deliveries, or undeliverable packages, where we can prove were shipped to a confirmed address supplied by our client.
Evenfall Studios is not responsible for parcels misdelivered or not delivered properly by our shipper.
In the event that delivery should be refused, that purchase will be returned to us.
ALL correspondance for, and the tracking number of that purchase and shipment will be placed on file with PayPal, to confirm our due diligence if applicable.
Evenfall Studios is not responsible to re-ship refused items. The purchaser of the item is responsible for the shipping and handling fees, and will be responsible for subsequent shipping and handling fees to get said item(s) to the purchaser. We do our best to work with our clients, we want them to receive their purchase(s).
Should the delivery be refused, and the choice made not to fund another attempt to deliver the item. We will provide the purchaser 30 calendar days to claim the property from the day we receive the item in return. Should they not claim the item(s) in that time, that order will be returned to stock, the purchase is nonrefundable.
